Facebook Messenger lets you make shared Spotify playlists. Spotify has launched a new feature on Facebook Messenger that allows users to share and create playlists with their friends. Spotify says the feature will be ideal for parties, road trips or collecting people's favorite song in one place easily. The feature allows someone in a Facebook Messenger chat to add songs to a group playlist even if they don't have a Spotify account. Users in both the US and UK have reported that songs are appearing above their favorite public playlists without their permission. Promoted songs can only appear above Spotify's free tiered users, but users can opt out through the 'sponsored content' section in their settings. Sponsored songs can be targeted at users with matching listening tastes in an attempt to fit them into the right playlists.
